When your team qualifies for the National Skeeball Championships in Baltimore, Maryland you have to go! It’s truly a once in a lifetime experience! Group travel can be a challenge, but finding a conveniently located hotel is the key to a successful trip. You should definitely add Baltimore to your summer bucket list and explore all of the fine attractions and food this city has to offer.
Where to Stay in Baltimore!
The new Radisson Baltimore Downtown – Inner Harbor is located in the heart of downtown, providing easy access to Baltimore’s best sites. The hotel is modern and contemporary with several amazing amenities. Staying in a hotel that is within walking distance to everything you want to see and do makes for a much easier trip. Especially when traveling with a large group who would require at least two cabs to get anywhere!
The hotel has a fantastic outdoor rooftop pool (an essential for any leisure hotel!), free wifi, a business center, and a 24 hour fitness center (to make up for all of the eating you’re going to do there!). The rooms are also crisp, spacious, and modern, with fabulous views.
The Radisson is also so modern they are offering the very convenient Radisson iConcierge app to allow guests to manage their time at the hotel before, during, and after their stay. The app allows guests to order room service right from their cell phone!
And while you’ll probably be tempted to grab some crab legs or crab cakes off site, you probably want to check out the Radisson’s restaurant Balto, which is currently offering a complimentary breakfast to hotel guests!
What to Do in Baltimore!
When you’re traveling for a competitive team sport, like skeeball, you probably don’t have as much leisure time as you would like to explore a city like Baltimore. There are many great attractions in this city including the National Aquarium, the Harbor, Oriole Park, and Royal Farms Arena. I knew I wouldn’t have much time and have a true love for fish, so the Baltimore Aquarium was number one on my list! Baltimore is the perfect city for a summer getaway to catch a ball game, explore the aquarium, and wander the harbor. See details below for your chance to to win a free stay!!
