As my blog name mentions, I am always on the go. Being on the go doesn’t always leave me a lot of time to explore. It’s been too long since I’ve been to Canada, so I am planning a little trip to Toronto. With only two nights to spend in Toronto, I’ll share a few of the items on my bucket list. Toronto is Canada’s largest city and described as metropolitan and cultural (much like my home base of NYC) so I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy it! Hopefully this list will inspire you to visit Toronto or other Canadian cities because if you make it to the bottom of this post you’ll find out how you can win a free night in a Radisson hotel in Canada or the US).
1. City Hall & The Toronto Sign
Up first is the TORONTO sign. I am an Instagram addict, and I wouldn’t miss a chance at capturing a few photos with this colorfully illuminated piece of art. The sign is located in the plaza next to City Hall, with the beautiful old City Hall Buildings right there too.
2. Ferry Ride for City Views
One of the best ways to capture city skylines is usually from a boat! I’ve heard great things about the views from Ward Island, Hanlan’s Point, and Centre Island. A cheap and scenic ferry runs from Toronto to the islands, making it a top attraction for tourists!
3. The Beach
Doesn’t matter where I am, if there’s a beach, I want to see it and probably do a handstand on it!
4. CN Tower
The CN Tower is one of Toronto’s most touristy sites, but after the summer I’ve had (Prudential Tower Boston, Prime Tower Zurich, Top of Mt. Moleson, One World Observatory, and the Empire State Building) I won’t pass up a chance for another amazing view to add to my collection. And I like to spice it up a bit by catching the views at different times. I’ve been to the ESB more times than I count but sometimes during the day or at night, just to keep it fresh. And the skyline’s of our world’s best cities are always changing.

I have never had the pleasure of visiting Toronto only Montreal in the eastern part of Canada. The city is beautiful and like all of Canada so clean and pristine. The beach, ferry ride and the photos of the streets and lights at night would be things that we would love.

Toronto sounds like a pretty cool place to visit and I’d love to go up the CN Tower and see the views out over the city. Great panorama picture with the view of the city by the way!

Hi! What a nice summary of Toronto. This post definitely inspired me to visit the metropolitan one day. I indeed agree that seeing a city’s skyline from the water, is the best way. Would love to do this in Toronto. Great post!
